WordPress Developer (Front-End and Back-End)

We are looking for an experienced and proficient WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a robust proficiency in both front-end and back-end development, with significant expertise in PHP. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and deploy cutting-edge web applications utilizing WordPress, focusing on performance optimization, responsiveness, and comprehensive management of the CMS’s technical aspects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and deploy new features and functionalities for WordPress sites.
• Ensure optimal performance and availability, overseeing all technical aspects of the CMS.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to implement effective, visually appealing, and user-friendly solutions.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
• Optimize website performance, scalability, and server-side code and processes.
• Implement industry best practices for website security.
• Conduct performance tests, troubleshoot content issues, and monitor website metrics.
• Coordinate with front-end developers and liaise with team members on technical challenges and project status.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into operations and activities.

QUALIFICATTIONS:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
• Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Strong skills in PHP and MySQL specific to WordPress development.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git.
• Experience in responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Solid understanding of website architecture and design aesthetics.
• Ability to translate wireframes and layouts into functional WordPress pages.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively or independently.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with RESTful APIs and data formats such as JSON and XML.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance.
